- Follow installation instructions located here.
- Follow instructions provided by the ballast or system manufacturer to ensure safe operation of the lamp.
- Do NOT power EYE HORTILUX DE Ceramic HPS with electronic ballasts operating below 100 kHz. Premature lamp failure can result.
- For best performance, power the DE Ceramic HPS with EYE HORTILUX electronic ballasts.
- Lamp operates in a horizontal burning position.
- Must start 1000W DE lamp at 1000 watt setting.
- Do NOT air cool the lamp. Reduced light output will occur.
- Must operate 600W DE lamp at 600 watt setting only. Running the lamp at any other wattage will void warranty.
- Must start 1000W DE Ceramic HPS lamp at 1000 watt setting and operate for at least 100 hours.
- DE Ceramic HPS can take up to 20 minutes to get to full power during start-up and hot re-strike.
